TempoSmart™ App facilitates the collection of diabetes-related data obtained through the Tempo Smart Button™, and a linked Tempo Blood Glucose Monitor (BGM) or Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System. It further aggregates data imported from compatible health and wellness applications, generating personalized diabetes management data accessible via your smartphone.

Empowers discussions with healthcare professionals by providing relevant information
Offers diabetes-related education, support alternatives, and reminders
Compatible with wearables apps such as Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, and Garmin

The TempoSmart App is an essential element of the Tempo™ Personalized Diabetes Management Platform, inclusive of a Tempo Pen™ (insulin pen), Tempo Smart Button™, and Tempo BGM.

By connecting the Tempo Smart Button to your Tempo Pen and pairing it with the TempoSmart app, you can wirelessly transmit insulin dose-related data through Bluetooth® technology. This transmitted data can then be accessed by healthcare professionals through the Tempo Insights™ portal.

The TempoSmart App can function independently without a prescribed compatible device for a limited feature set, up to a maximum of 180 days. Tempo is approved for individuals aged 18 years and above only.

Warning: Decisions on dosing should not be solely based on CGM data from the TempoSmart App. Adherence to instructions on your CGM system is essential.

*For automatic transfer of insulin dose-related data, the Tempo Smart Button must be within 9 feet (3 meters) of your Bluetooth® enabled mobile device. Manual entry of insulin dosing information is also supported.

**Refer to your BGM and/or CGM guidelines for automatic data transfer procedures. When first connecting a Dexcom CGM device, TempoSmart™ synchronizes glucose data from the past 30 days.

Warning: The intended purpose of the Tempo Personalized Diabetes Management Platform is to complement your diabetes management. Independence in managing blood glucose values and following the prescribed regimen with healthcare provider support is imperative.

The Tempo Platform is compatible with Lilly insulin.
